CAS :Deacetyl diltiazem N-oxide (DANO) is a prodrug of diltiazem. It is metabolized to produce the active form of diltiazem, which has been shown to be effective in treating hypertension and angina pectoris. DANO is rapidly absorbed after oral administration and converted to the active form within minutes. The conversion of DANO to diltiazem does not have any effect on its bioavailability or pharmacokinetics. The pharmacokinetic profile of DANO differs from that of the parent drug, with a higher plasma concentration at an earlier time point. This difference may be due to the presence of human metabolites, which are present at a much lower concentration than those found in humans.Formule :C20H24N2O4SDegré de pureté :Min. 95%Masse moléculaire :388.48 g/mol
