CAS :ARL 14495 is a research tool for studying the interactions between proteins and ligands. ARL 14495 is a high-purity, small-molecule activator of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs). The activation of GPCRs by ARL 14495 leads to the opening of ion channels and an influx of ions into cells. It also activates phospholipase C, leading to increased levels of inositol trisphosphate (IP3) and diacylglycerol (DAG). IP3 causes the release of calcium from intracellular stores, while DAG activates protein kinase C. ARL 14495 also inhibits adenylyl cyclase activity, which decreases cAMP levels and has effects on other signaling molecules such as nitric oxide synthase.
ARL14495 has been shown to inhibit the activity of ion channels such as Na+, K+, Ca2+ and Cl− in various types of cellsFormule :C10H17NO2Degré de pureté :Min. 95%Masse moléculaire :183.25 g/mol
