CAS :Trans-Crotamiton is a topical cream used for the treatment of scabies. It contains the active ingredient crotamiton, which has been shown to be effective in treating scabies. The long-term efficacy of trans-Crotamiton has been demonstrated by a study that showed that trans-Crotamiton was still effective after six months of use. Trans-Crotamiton can be prescribed as an alternative treatment for scabies when other treatments are not available or have failed to work. Trans-Crotamiton is applied to the skin and left on overnight. Trans-Crotamiton should not be used in patients with a body mass index (BMI) greater than 30 kg/m2, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, or children under two years old.br>
