CAS :6-O-Malonyldaidzin is a metabolite of the soybean isoflavone daidzein. It is an isoflavonoid that has been shown to activate estrogen receptors in vitro and in vivo. 6-O-Malonyldaidzin has been found to have a protective effect on hepatic steatosis, as well as an anti-inflammatory effect. This compound also appears to have matrix effects on plasma lipoproteins and vascular endothelial cells. 6-O-Malonyldaidzin is absorbed efficiently from the gastrointestinal tract, with its bioavailability being 70% or higher when taken orally.
