Applications N-[(1R)-2,3-Dihydro-3-oxo-1H-inden-1-yl]-2,2,2-trifluoroacetamide is an intermediate in the synthesis of (3R)-2,3-Dihydro-3-(2-propyn-1-ylamino)-1H-inden-1-one (D449765), which is a building block in the preparation of Rasagiline (R126000), which is a selective irreversible MAO-B inhibitor. Rasagiline is also an Antiparkinsonian agent.
