CAS :Produit contrôléThiamethoxam-d3 is a neonicotinoid insecticide that has been used in agriculture. It is used to control aphids, leafhoppers, and other pests in cotton, canola, cereals, and other crops. Thiamethoxam-d3 is a metabolite of thiamethoxam and can be detected using GC/MS or LC/MS-MS methods. The metabolite forms by hydrolysis of the ester linkage of the insecticide molecule. This process occurs in the stomachs of mammals and birds as well as soil microorganisms. Thiamethoxam-d3 has a low detection limit for GC/MS (0.5 μg/kg) and LC/MS-MS (0.1 μg/kg).
