    <p>Fmoc-Lys(Boc)-Pro-OH is a residue that is used in the optimization of peptide synthesis. It is an acid labile protecting group that can be removed by treatment with trichloroacetic acid or hydrogen fluoride. Fmoc-Lys(Boc)-Pro-OH can be used for chemical ligation to other protected amino acids, such as Boc-Lys(Bzl)-OH, to form peptides. The residue has been shown to be useful in systematic optimization of peptide pairings and in the stepwise synthesis of peptides.
