GS-9451
CAS :GS-9451 is a protease inhibitor that inhibits the activity of serine proteases and NS3 proteases. It is used in the treatment of hepatitis B and hepatitis C, as well as cancer and cirrhosis. GS-9451 has been shown to inhibit the replication of viruses by blocking their protein synthesis. The drug has shown antiviral activity against HIV-1, HIV-2, SIV, influenza A virus, parainfluenza virus 3 (PIV3), and human cytomegalovirus (CMV). GS-9451 also inhibits the replicon cells that are resistant to nucleoside analogs such as zidovudine (AZT).
