YL0919 is a drug that has been shown to have memory-enhancing effects in animal studies. It was found to stimulate the production of neurotrophic factors, such as nerve growth factor, brain-derived neurotrophic factor, and vascular endothelial growth factor. The uptake of YL0919 by recombinant cells was also increased with rapamycin treatment. YL0919 is a serotonin reuptake inhibitor that has been shown to increase serotonergic system activity and regulate the release of serotonin in the prefrontal cortex.
