By binding to DCAF1 (E3 ligase subunit), it disrupts the NRF2/DCAF1 interaction and activates NRF2 through the inhibition of NRF2 ubiquitination, independent of KEAP1. BC-1901S has demonstrated anti-inflammatory effects in a murine model of LPS-induced acute lung injury.
