    CAS :
    Tedizolid phosphate is a medicine that belongs to the class of medicines known as pinacol esters. It is used in the treatment of industrial condition and Tedizolid is used for the treatment of serious infections caused by bacteria, such as Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain spotted fever. Pinacol ester undergoes hydrolysis by esterases or glucuronidases, oxidation by cytochrome P450 enzymes, reduction by glutathione reductase, or conjugation with glucuronic acid. Tedizolid phosphate has been shown to be effective against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Clostridium perfringens, although is not active against acid-fast bacteria such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis or Mycobacterium avium complex.
