CAS :Cinene is a hydrochloric acid that is used as an industrial chemical. It has been shown to be a terpene with a ph optimum of 5.5, and an optimum concentration of 0.5%. Cinene has been clinically relevant for the treatment of fatty acid metabolic disorders such as ethyl decanoate, and wastewater treatment processes. Cinene is also used as an intermediate in the production of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Cinene inhibits enzyme activities by binding to cytochrome P450 enzymes in rat liver microsomes. The main use of cinene is in the manufacture of trifluoroacetic acid (TFA), which is used in the production of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and other organic compounds.
