CAS :<p>4,4-Difluoro-1,3-dimethyl-4-bora-3a,4a-diaza-s-indacene is a proteolytic enzyme that is found in the subtilisin family of serine proteases. This protease has been shown to be active against the regulatory protein of subtilisins and has an inhibitory effect on the activity of subtilisins. It also has a significant inhibitory effect on intramembrane proteases. 4,4-Difluoro-1,3-dimethyl-4-bora-3a,4a -diaza-s -indacene was also shown to be active against fatty acid substrates and can synthesize butanol from fatty acids in vitro.
