BMS 986115 is a secretase inhibitor that inhibits the amyloid-β (Aβ) pathway, which may be responsible for the development of Alzheimer's disease. BMS 986115 has been shown to have anti-cancer effects in preclinical models, blocking constitutive activation of β-catenin and suppressing tumour growth. In addition, BMS 986115 has been shown to be effective against solid tumours and life-threatening desmoid tumours. It has also been shown to be well tolerated with minimal toxicity in preclinical models.
