Etripamil

Etripamil is a pharmaceutical formulation that is administered by nasal administration. It is used to terminate supraventricular tachycardias with reentry in patients who are ambulatory, and it may be used for long-term treatment of atrioventricular (AV) blocks. Etripamil has been shown to increase the duration of refractory periods in patients with AV block, and it can be used as a diagnostic agent for AV blocks. Etripamil has been shown to have l-type calcium channel blocking effects, which may lead to termination of supraventricular tachycardia.
