Avβ1 integrin-in-1 is a recombinant protein that is an activator of the αvβ1 integrin receptor. It binds to the αvβ1 integrin receptor and activates it, inducing the proliferation of tumor cells. This product has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of angiogenesis and tumor growth in vivo. Avβ1 integrin-in-1 can also be used as a research tool to study β1 integrins and their role in cell signaling pathways. Avβ1 integrin-in-1 is not an antibody or antibody fragment, but an activator of the αvβ1 integrin receptor that is purified from E. coli.
