Tetrahydro-5-methyl-tetrazolo[1,5-a]pyridine-6,7,8-triol is soluble in water and formic acid. It is used as a synthetic intermediate for the production of oligosaccharides and saccharides. Tetrahydro-5-methyl-tetrazolo[1,5-a]pyridine-6,7,8-triol can be used to produce glycosylation or methylation in the laboratory. It is also used as a chemical reagent in complex carbohydrate synthesis.</p>
