CAS :Dichlorocarbene (DC) is a reactive carbonyl compound that can be used for the synthesis of small molecules. DC reacts with nucleophiles, including thiosemicarbazide, chloride, and acetamide, to form adducts that have been widely studied. The antiviral activity of DC was first observed in the 1970s when it was found to inhibit replication of DNA viruses such as hepatitis B virus and herpes simplex virus type 1. DC also inhibits the replication of RNA viruses by binding to the ribose moiety and preventing formation of a functional enzyme. DC is an inhibitor of non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors, which are drugs used in the treatment of HIV/AIDS.Formule :C22H16BrNO4Degré de pureté :Min. 95%Masse moléculaire :438.3 g/mol
