Chidamide

Chidamide is an inhibitor of histone deacetylases (HDACs) that belongs to the drug therapy groups. It induces apoptosis by increasing the expression of Bcl-2 protein and decreasing the expression of Bax protein in squamous cell carcinoma cells. Chidamide also has a significant cytotoxicity, which is caused by its ability to inhibit HDACs and induce apoptosis. Combination therapy with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and other drugs may have a synergistic effect on cancer treatment.
