Dextrorphan O-b-D-glucuronide is a glycosylated form of dextrorphan, an opioid analgesic. The synthesis of this compound is accomplished by the attachment of a glucose to dextrorphan via an ether bond. Dextrorphan O-b-D-glucuronide has been shown to be more potent than the parent drug.
