CAS :
Pyridoxine dimer is a metabolite of pyridoxal phosphate, an important cofactor in many biochemical reactions. Pyridoxine dimer binds to the purines and prevents their conversion to uric acid, which is necessary for the synthesis of nucleotides. This compound has been shown to be endogenous in both humans and rats. Pyridoxine dimer also inhibits proton transport across membranes by binding with key ions such as potassium and magnesium, inhibiting biochemical reactions. Pyridoxine dimer has been shown to have antioxidant properties as well, which may be due to its ability to scavenge free radicals.
Formule :C16H20N2O5Degré de pureté :80%MinMasse moléculaire :320.34 g/mol
