CAS :
ML418 is a selective melanocortin receptor 4 (MC4) agonist that has been shown to increase muscle contractility in vivo. It is a non-selective ligand that binds to the MC4 receptor with a binding affinity of Kd = 0.1 nM. ML418 has also been observed to produce glutamate release from synaptosomes and increase the amplitude of currents in cultured neurons, which may be due to its ability to activate ionotropic glutamate receptors. The molecular modeling studies suggested that ML418 binds to the extracellular domain of the MC4 receptor and activates signaling pathways mediated by G protein coupled receptors, leading to an increased contractility in skeletal muscle.
Formule :C19H24ClN3O3Degré de pureté :Min. 95%Masse moléculaire :377.87 g/mol
