2',3',5'-Tris-O-[tert-butyldimethylsilyl]-2-chloroadenosine is a phosphoramidite that can be used in the synthesis of ribonucleosides, deoxyribonucleosides, and nucleoside analogues. This product is synthesized from 2,3,5-trichloropyrimidine by reaction with tert-butyldimethylsilyl chloride in the presence of triethylamine. The product is purified by vacuum distillation and characterized using proton nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy.
