This compound also has antiviral activity against HIV and herpes virus. 2'-O-Methyl-5'-O-DMT-pseudouridine 3'-CE phosphoramidite binds to the viral dsDNA and blocks viral replication by inhibiting DNA synthesis and protein translation.
