MeOSuc-Gly-Leu-Phe-AMC is a fluorescent substrate that is used in the study of proteasomes. It binds to reticulums, cytoplasmic proteins, and antigen receptors on the surface of lymphocytes. The MeOSuc-Gly-Leu-Phe-AMC substrate is cleaved by the proteasome into AMC and Gly-Leu fragments. These fragments can be detected using fluorescence spectroscopy or a fluorimeter. This product has been shown to be active against Lymphocytic Choriomeningitis Virus (LCMV).
