CAS :<p>STAT3-IN-1 is a small molecule that inhibits the activation of the transcription factor STAT3. STAT3 is involved in the regulation of cancer cell proliferation and survival, as well as the suppression of inflammation. STAT3-IN-1 has been shown to inhibit tumor growth by blocking IL-10 production and attenuating tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase (TIMP)-1 expression. It also inhibits chemoresistance in breast cancer cells by reducing NF-κB activity, which leads to increased apoptosis and decreased proliferation rates.
