CAS :<p>BD 1063 is a dihydrochloride salt of an inhibitor of the enzyme, cytochrome P450. It is used for the treatment of pain in rats and has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on physiological functions. BD 1063 is a selective inhibitor of recombinant human cytochrome P450 CYP2D6. This compound also has a neuroprotective effect and reduces cellular calcium overload, which may be due to its ability to stimulate serotonin reuptake.
