KAT2A is also known as General Control Nonderepressible 5 (GCN5) and has high homology with C-terminal domain of KAT2B bromodomain, known as p300/CBP-Associated Factor (PCAF). The compound is cell penetrant and has over 18000-fold selectivity over the bromodomain and extra terminal (BET) family.
