Antioxydant 1076, également connu sous son nom chimique 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-méthylphénol (DBMP), est un antioxydant synthétique couramment utilisé dans diverses applications industrielles pour prévenir la dégradation oxydative des matériaux. It is soluble in methanol and reacts with sodium carbonate to form octadecyl 3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzoyl)propanoate. This product has been shown to have a high chemical stability and to inhibit the oxidation of glycol esters.
