CAS :1,4-Dioxane is a reaction intermediate used in the synthesis of 2-(3-chloropropanamido)-N-cyclopropylbenzamide. This compound is a white solid that is soluble in water and organic solvents. It has been shown to be carcinogenic in rats, causing liver tumors at high doses. 1,4-Dioxane was also found to cause nephrotoxicity in mice.
