CYT-1010 has been shown to have antinociceptive effects in wild-type mice and animals at doses that are not associated with sedation or other unwanted side effects. CYT-1010 is an analog of cyclazocine, which is a narcotic analgesic used for the treatment of chronic arthritis and acute pain.
