CAS :Produit contrôléGlochidonol is a naturally occurring molecule that has been found to have potent anticancer and antitumour activity. It is a steroidal saponin, belonging to the genus Gloeosporium and the type species Gloeosporium fulvum. This compound has shown inhibitory effects on tumour cell growth and viral replication in biological studies. It has also shown an inhibitory effect against liver cancer cells du-145 in vitro, as well as antiviral activity against hepatitis B virus. Glochidonol can be used for treatment of skin tumors as well as infectious diseases such as HIV, herpes simplex virus, influenza virus, and hepatitis C virus.
Glochidonol is a chromatographically stable compound with potent anticancer and antiviral activities. It inhibits proliferation of cancer cells by inducing apoptosis and inhibiting cell cycle progression at G2/M phase. In addition, it inhibits viral replication by inhibiting reverse transcriptase (RT), DNA polymeraseDegré de pureté :Min. 95%
