CAS :Naproxen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that is used to treat pain, fever, and inflammation. It is an analgesic and antipyretic agent. Naproxen has been shown to have a high affinity for copper chloride, which may be due to the formation of an amide bond. The reaction mechanism of naproxen's inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in bacteria has been investigated using x-ray diffraction data from bacterial strains and human serum. Naproxen also has inhibitory properties on the reaction solution in vitro and enhances the toxicity studies with isooctane in vivo.
