CAS :Jr-ab2-011 is an analog of glimepiride, a medication used to treat diabetes. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of kinases in human urine and may have potential as an anticancer agent. Jr-ab2-011 has been found to induce apoptosis in cancer cells and may be effective against a variety of tumors, including Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells. Additionally, Jr-ab2-011 has demonstrated inhibitory effects on the growth of cancer cells when combined with other inhibitors such as apomorphine and nintedanib.
