Poly[2-(diméthylamino)éthyl méthacrylate], communément appelé PDMAEMA, est un polymère cationique caractérisé par sa nature amphiphile, qui découle de la présence de segments hydrophiles et hydrophobes dans sa structure. Ce polymère est synthétisé par polymérisation radicalaire de 2-(diméthylamino)éthyl méthacrylate, ce qui donne un matériau présentant un comportement sensible au pH, le rendant utile dans diverses applications telles que la délivrance de médicaments, la thérapie génique et comme floculant dans le traitement des eaux usées.
