It also has pharmacokinetic properties and is rapidly absorbed after oral administration. CP-154526 hydrochloride has been shown to be effective in alleviating bowel disease in experimental models and is being investigated as an agent for treating inflammatory bowel disease and bowel diseases associated with Ca2+ overload or camp levels.
