Description :

Lasalocid A est un antibiotique ionophore polyéther principalement utilisé comme additif alimentaire dans le bétail pour favoriser la croissance et prévenir la coccidiose, une maladie parasitaire affectant les volailles et d'autres animaux. Il est dérivé de la fermentation de la bactérie *Streptomyces lasaliensis*. Ce composé présente une structure unique caractérisée par un cadre polyéther cyclique, qui lui permet de former des complexes avec des cations, en particulier les ions sodium et potassium, facilitant leur transport à travers les membranes biologiques.
