    <p>2,6-Dimethylpyridine-3,5-dicarboxylic acid is a stabilizer that can be used to stabilize peptidomimetic molecules. It has been shown to be effective in the stabilization of peptides and proteins. The stability of 2,6-dimethylpyridine-3,5-dicarboxylic acid is due to its ability to form hydrogen bonds with neighboring molecules. This compound also has the ability to chelate metals such as copper and zinc. 2,6-Dimethylpyridine-3,5-dicarboxylic acid has been shown to inhibit syneresis in aqueous systems which may be due to its ability to form hydrogen bonds with water molecules. 2,6-Dimethylpyridine-3,5-dicarboxylic acid has also been found to have diffraction patterns that are similar to those of cellulose acetate butyl ether</p>
