CAS :Acadesine is a purine nucleoside analogue that inhibits the synthesis of ATP in cells. Acadesine blocks phosphorylation of adenosine monophosphate (AMP) to adenosine triphosphate (ATP) by inhibiting the activity of kinase-3, an enzyme involved in the production of ATP.
