CAS :1,8,10-Triazatricyclo[7.4.0.0,2,7]trideca-2,4,6,8-tetraene is a chemical compound that has been shown to have medicinal properties and is an organic solvent used in organic chemistry. It contains a benzene ring with maleimide groups on either side of the ring. This chemical has been shown to be an anesthetic and is also water-soluble. 1,8,10-Triazatricyclo[7.4.0.0,2,7]trideca-2,4,6,8-tetraene can be used as an equimolar replacement for chloroform in the synthesis of certain drugs such as diazepam and lorazepam due to its similar properties to chloroform but it does not react with water or alcohols as easily as chloroform does.
