CAS :3,4,5-Trihydroxybenzoic-2,6-d2 acid is a phenolic compound that has been shown to have anti-cancer properties. In addition, this compound has shown antibacterial efficacy against oral pathogens and anion radical scavenging activity. It also inhibits the activity of enzymes such as p-hydroxybenzoic acid hydroxylase and lactic dehydrogenase. 3,4,5-Trihydroxybenzoic-2,6-d2 acid is bound to proteins in a pH dependent manner. This compound can act as an antioxidant by reducing intracellular Ca2+ levels.
