This drug has also been shown to be effective against chemotherapeutic treatment in animal models, such as platinum-based chemotherapy, and to reduce the size of prostate cancer cells in vitro. Clinical trials are currently underway for CCT036477 to treat skin cancer and human osteosarcoma cell.
