3,4-Dimethylpent-2-enoic acid
CAS :3,4-Dimethylpent-2-enoic acid is an organic compound that is extracted from Brucea javanica. It has been shown to have antitumor and antiviral properties as well as being a potent inhibitor of glucose residue. This pentenoic acid is also a potent antiviral agent that can be used in the treatment of brucea, which is caused by the virus known as the human T-lymphotropic virus type I (HTLV-I). 3,4-Dimethylpent-2-enoic acid inhibits viral replication by inhibiting protein synthesis at the ribosomal level, preventing RNA polymerase from binding to a specific site on the DNA strand.
