14:0 Pg-d54 is an inhibitor of the N-terminal domain of the G protein-coupled receptor. It has been shown to act as a competitive inhibitor, with a Ki value of 0.4 μM for the human β2 adrenergic receptor. 14:0 Pg-d54 is also an inhibitor of Kv1.3 potassium channels with an IC50 value of 2.5 μM. The inhibition activity is reversible and exhibits competitive inhibition against the ligand binding site on these ion channels. 14:0 Pg-d54 may be used as a research tool in cell biology, pharmacology, and life science research.
