11-Ketodihydrotestosterone is a steroid hormone that is synthesized from the male sex hormone testosterone. 11-Ketodihydrotestosterone has been shown to have anti-proliferative effects in vitro and in vivo, and may be a potential therapeutic agent for cancer treatment. It also has relevance as a drug to treat polycystic ovarian syndrome and clinical symptoms of prostate cancer such as bone pain. 11-Ketodihydrotestosterone is expressed by humans, but there are no reports of its catalysis or physiological function.
