CAS :Produit contrôléApplications Rhein 8-Glucoside has been seen to exhibit cytotoxic and DNA-damaging properties towards tumor and normal human cells. In addition it has been shown to be an inhibitor of PTP1B (Human Protein Tyrosine Kinase 1B) in vitro. It is an analog of Rhein (R318500) which is found in the free state and as glucoside in Rheum spp, Polygonaceae (rhubarb) and in Senna leaves. It is a potential antioxidant resource: endophytic fungi from medicinal plants.

CAS :Rhein-8-glucoside is a naturally occurring anthraquinone glycoside, which is derived primarily from the roots of plants such as Rheum species. These plants have been traditionally used in herbal medicine, and the glycoside form of Rhein enhances its solubility and bioavailability. The mode of action of Rhein-8-glucoside involves the modulation of various cellular pathways, including the inhibition of specific enzymes and the interaction with cellular receptors, potentially leading to anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antimicrobial effects.Formule :C21H18O11Degré de pureté :Min. 95%Couleur et forme :PowderMasse moléculaire :446.36 g/mol
