CAS :<p>Ac-Nle-Pro-Nle-Asp-AMC is a reactive molecule that has been shown to be neuroprotective and to inhibit insulin resistance in mammalian cells. Ac-Nle-Pro-Nle-Asp-AMC is able to stop neuronal death by binding to the proteolytic enzymes, such as ubiquitin ligases, and inhibiting their activity. This drug also inhibits the activity of c2c12 myotubes, which are muscle cells that have been used in research studies. Ac-Nle-Pro-Nle-Asp AMC binds to ubiquitin and prevents it from being degraded by the proteasome system, which is a cellular protein degradation pathway.
