1-(4-Bromophenyl)-2-(2-(thiophen-2-yl)-4H-benzo[4,5]imidazo[1,2-b][1,2,4]triazol-4-yl)ethan-1-one is a pharmacological tool for research. It is an inhibitor of protein interactions and a ligand for receptors. Its function as a receptor activator has been demonstrated in vitro by binding to the beta 2 adrenergic receptor. The IC50 value for this interaction was found to be 0.11 μM. 1-(4-Bromophenyl)-2-(2-(thiophen-2-yl)-4H-benzo[4,5]imidazo[1,2-b][1,2,4]triazol-4-yl)ethanone has also been shown to inhibit ion channel activity in vitro.
