MLS6585 is a functional allosteric modulator of the dopamine D2 receptor. It has been shown to increase the affinity and inhibitory effect of dopamine at the D2 receptor. MLS6585 was found to have a significant effect on neuronal function in rats, reversing dyskinesia and improving motor function. This drug also reduced blood pressure and had an anti-inflammatory effect in mice. MLS6585 is currently being developed as a treatment for Parkinson's disease, depression, and hypertension.
