3-[(3-Chlorophenyl)sulfamoyl]-4-methylbenzoic acid is a synthetic compound that is a sulfonamide. It is an inhibitor of glycosylation and has been used as an intermediate in the synthesis of saccharides. 3-[(3-Chlorophenyl)sulfamoyl]-4-methylbenzoic acid has also been used for the fluorination of carbohydrates, oligosaccharides, and polysaccharides.
